Cooking a roast beef shoulder

  • 400g roast beef bardé
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 cl water
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 salt
  • 1 thyme

Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 220oC (thermostat 7-8).
    Place the roast with bard and strings in an ovenproof dish. Cut the garlic clove in half and rub the roast. Sprinkle the top of the roast with thyme and drizzle with olive oil. Place the garlic cloves on the roast. 

Step 2
    Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the roast and remove the bard and string. Add water and drop garlic into dish

Step 3
Season the roast with salt and pepper. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the desired cooking time.
