Homemade apple sauce

Ingredients / for 4 people
  •    4 apples
  •     2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  •     100 ml water
  •     1 pinch cinnamon
  •     The zest of a lemon
  •     1/2 tablespoon juice of one lemon

  1. Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and put them in a saucepan with a little water over low heat.
  2. Add lemon zest, cinnamon, vanilla sugar. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes (or more if you like mashed compote) stirring occasionally.
  3. Finally, when the compote is cooked, fill a jar or in individual ramekins.
